Savannah’s practice primarily focuses on the areas of estate planning, asset protection, trust administration, and probate administration. Prior to law school Savannah developed an affinity for estate planning while working as a legal assistant for an estate planning attorney at Long, Ragsdale, & Waters, P.C. in Knoxville, Tennessee. Savannah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in History, later distinguishing herself in law school where she earned the CALI Award for Excellence in Estate Planning. Additionally, Savannah actively contributed to her law school community as a member of the VITA Tax Clinic.
Throughout law school, Savannah worked as a law clerk for Williams McDaniel, PLLC. Additionally, Savannah spent one semester working as a law clerk for Teresa Hurst, tax attorney, and one semester externing for the Honorable Judge Denise E. Barnett in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
Savannah and her husband, Jacob, attend Harvest Church where Savannah teaches children’s Sunday School and volunteers on the Coffee Team. In her free time, Savannah enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and cheering on the University of Tennessee’s athletic teams.
